A. Soriano Corporation (Anscor) has once again been recognized by Forbes Asia as one of its “Best Under a Billion” companies, marking the second consecutive year that the Company has earned a place on the prestigious annual list.
Published in the August 2026 issue of Forbes Asia, the “Best Under a Billion” list recognizes 200 publicly traded companies in the Asia-Pacific region with annual revenues between US$10 million and US$1 billion that have demonstrated strong financial performance and consistent growth.
Anscor, with reported sales of US$256 million and net income of US$95 million, was among seven Philippine companies included in this year’s list.
According to Forbes Asia, the 2026 list highlights companies that have successfully navigated the challenges of geopolitical tensions and volatile energy markets while maintaining strong financial performance.
The 200 companies were selected from more than 19,000 publicly traded companies across the Asia-Pacific region based on several financial measures, including debt levels, sales and earnings-per-share growth over one- and three-year periods, and one- and five-year average returns on equity. Companies with serious governance issues, questionable accounting practices, environmental concerns, management problems or legal troubles were excluded.
Joining Anscor on the 2026 list were six other Philippine companies: Apex Mining Co., Inc., Asia United Bank Corporation, Far Eastern University, Pryce Corporation, STI Education Systems Holdings, Inc., and Vivant Corporation.
Anscor’s inclusion for the second consecutive year underscores the Company’s sustained financial performance and its continuing commitment to long-term value creation through disciplined investment management and a diversified portfolio of businesses.
