At the special meeting of the Board of Directors of A. Soriano Corporation (“Anscor”) held on October 16, 2025, Atty. Jose Mario C. Buñag was elected as an Independent Director of Anscor to serve the unexpired term of Mr. Oscar J. Hilado.
Atty. Buñag served as Commissioner of Internal Revenue from July 8, 2005 to June 30, 2007. He placed second in the 1968 Bar Examinations. He is a graduate of Ateneo de Manila University (A.B. cum laude; LL.B., Valedictorian, cum laude), and New York University School of Law (M.C.J.).
